Privacy Policy for Global Product Confidence Limited

This privacy policy will explain how Global Product Confidence uses the personal data collected from you when you use this website.

1. What data is collected?
Your email address, should you subscribe to Smart Risk Insights, download templates, purchase a book or should you make an enquiry or submit an expression of interest through the website. Access to downloadable templates is an exclusive benefit for our Insights subscribers. By requesting these resources, you are signing up to our Insights emails. We collect your email address to manage your subscription and deliver these tools to you.

2. How is your data collected?
You provide your data directly when you join the Insights subscription list to gain access to templates, or when you submit an enquiry or expression of interest. As the templates are subscriber-only benefits, you will remain on the Insights list until you choose to unsubscribe. Once an enquiry or expression of interest has been responded to, your email and message are removed from the entries log, though your email remains in our secure email system as detailed in Section 4.

3. How is your data used? We process your data under the following legal bases:

  • Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): For Insights subscriptions and marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contractual Necessity (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): We process your data to fulfill your request for subscriber-only resources (scorecard/templates) and to deliver the Smart Risk Insights that provides the necessary context for those tools.
  • Legitimate Interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): To respond to your enquiries and maintain website security.

4. How is your data stored?
Your enquiry is managed by MailerLite (UAB, Paupio g. 50, LT-11341 Vilnius, Lithuania) and forwarded to us via the email provider Zoho (Flat No. 2, 361, Avvai Shanmugam Salai (Lloyds Road), Gopalapuram Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600086, India). The email is encrypted at rest and uses S/MIME to encrypt emails in transit. Emails are private and securely stored. Once your email has been received, your information is deleted from the MailerLite database. Once your enquiry has been responded to, your email is stored within the email system for 2 years, after which it is deleted.

If you subscribe to the Smart Risk Insights your email address is stored with email marketing software provider MailerLite until you unsubscribe or Insights cease. At that point email addresses are deleted. Mailerlite's privacy policy can be reviewed here.

5. International Data Transfers
As a global entity, your data is processed using third-party services located outside your home country:
  • Email Marketing (MailerLite): Data centers in Germany and the Netherlands.

By using this website, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, or country where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.
